Single Tickets
Tickets can be purchased at the theatre or by calling 212-307-4100 or 800-755-4000 (outside the Tri-State area). Tickets can also be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.
Group Tickets
Arrangements for groups of twenty or more can be made by calling, faxing or emailing Nederlander Group Sales with the name of the show you wish to see, the performance you wish to attend, the desired price category, and the number of tickets you seek. Procedures and terms will be explained upon contact.

Lottery Policy:
Twenty-six tickets at $26.25 each are sold through a lottery prior to each performance. Participants can sign-up for the lottery in the Gershwin Theatre lobby two and a half hours before show-time. Lottery winners are drawn by production representative two hours before show-time. If your name is drawn, you can purchase up to two tickets. Entrants must be present at the drawing to claim their tickets. Payment is cash only and identification must be presented. Only one entry per person.

Refund/Exchange Policy:
The Gershwin Theatre does not provide ticket refunds or exchanges.
Star Performer' Absenteeism:
Refunds are not granted in the event of cast replacements.

PATRON POLICIES
Dress Code:
There is no dress code at the theatre. For all performances, attire should be comfortable and appropriate for the occasion. The theatre is air conditioned during the summer months.
Policy for Children:
The Gershwin Theatre welcomes patrons ages 5 and older. As a courtesy to our guests, children under the age of 5 will not be permitted in the theatre. Please be aware that all patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
Late Seating Policy:
The seating procedure for latecomers varies by seat section. Generally speaking, late patrons who are seated in the front orchestra are held in the auditorium until approximately twenty minutes after the performance begins. They are then escorted directly to their seats by an usher.
Policy on Smoking:
Smoking is prohibited in the Gershwin Theatre.

AMENITIES
Bar:
There are two bars located on the theatre’s second floor and one bar located on the fourth floor where various mixed drinks, sodas, and candy can be purchased. However, water is the only beverage that is permitted in the auditorium.
The bars begin serving patrons 60 minutes before the performance begins.
Restrooms:
Male and female restrooms are located on the second and fourth floors of the theatre.
Cloakroom:
Cloakroom service is available to patrons during the winter months.
Concessions:
The producers of Wicked provide numerous stations throughout the theatre where a wide variety of souvenirs can be purchased.

ACCESS
Policy for Physically Challenged:
$26.25 tickets are available for patrons in wheelchairs. As a courtesy, patrons in wheelchairs are permitted to purchase one additional $26.25 ticket for his or her companion. Wheelchair tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the theatre box office only. Please be sure to inform the Box Office representative of your seating needs when purchasing tickets.
Restroom Accessibility:
The Gershwin is equipped with one handicapped restroom on the theatre’s second floor, as well as wide stalls in the male and female restrooms of the fourth floor. These floors can be accessed via a main lobby elevator that is strictly designated for guests with disabilities.
Seat Accessibility:
There are designated wheelchair spaces in the rear of the orchestra section on the third floor. These locations are the ONLY ones that do not involve steps. The third floor is accessible via the main lobby elevator that is designated for guests with disabilities. (see seating chart)
Services for Physically Challenged:
Theatre representatives are available to meet physically challenged theatergoers in the lobby of the building to escort them to designated handicapped areas via elevators or escalators. The main orchestra level of the theater is not accessible by elevators and escalators.
Policy on Guide Dogs and Service Animals:
Although animals are not permitted in the theatre, an exception is made for guide dogs and service animals. Please inform your ticket sales representative if any accommodations are required.
Sound Enhancement:
Headsets for sound augmentation are available at the theatre, free of charge. A photo identification is required as a deposit.
Audio Described/Captioned/Signed Performances:
The Gershwin provides “Audio Description for the Blind,” a detailed account of the visual aspects of the production. The theatre also offers “I-Caption" hand-held devices that provide captioning for deaf or hearing-impaired patrons. Performances are not presented in sign- language.
Multi-lingual Commentary:
ShowTrans Systems, which provide automated multi-lingual commentary of the production, is available on the second floor for a rental fee of $10.00. Commentary is available in German, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.

SECURITY
Patron Security:
For the protection of our patrons, theatre managers and private security personnel are on duty during all performances.
Bag Checks:
Purses, briefcases, and large bags may be inspected upon arrival. For your convenience, we recommend refraining from bringing large bags to the theatre.
